Hello, I'm Alistair Hamilton, the owner and webmaster of AsthmaInfo.me.uk.

Fortunately, I have never suffered from asthma, but many members of my family has been blighted by the condition. When my son developed the disease I took a more proactive role looking for solutions to help him live with the condition.

A few years on he no longer has an attack every day; can play sport to his heart's content and essentially live a normal life. He always carries his inhaler - just in case - and he's been taught a variety of breathing exercises he can use just in case.

Hopefully, like a lot of children, he'll grow out of it. However, there's every chance that it will come back in later life. Now he has the tools he needs to cope.

As part of a series of health related resources I've produced, I wanted to create a resource that other sufferers of asthma will find as useful as I and my son have done. I don't present things here as an endorsement of any particular article or product you may find contained within. What seems to work for some simply doesn't for others.

My aim is to provide you with as many articles and resources in one location allowing you to gather as much information about the condition as possible. This will allow you to make an informed choice as regards treatment and ultimately relief from this very common condition.

I'm also very interested in hearing from anyone regarding this condition. So, if your a sufferer, or know a sufferer; if you've found a solution to ease your suffering and are willing to share your experience then please .
